I took my car in for an Oil Change & Tire Rotation. While servicing my Escape the mechanic seen that my tires had been rotated on my last oil change. Instead of rotating them again & charging me again the we honest with me. While inspecting my car they found my back wiper is wearing out. They again were honest & told me about it instead of changing it out and adding an extra charge.

I bring all of my vehicles to Waterloo Automotive. The team here goes above and beyond when I bring any of them in for service or repairs. They usually recommend service more frequently than the manufacturers, but they always give me the option to maintain now or later, depending on the service. My wife recently had to have a replacement engine for her Avalon, due to negligence at a different service provider. And a much newer engine replaced the original. And although her odometer reads 174,xxx miles, there is only 50,xxx miles on the replacement. The tech said iridium plugs should be replaced at 120k, this engine has another 70k before the plugs should be changed. Still, I appreciate Waterloo Automotive 'staying on top' of any service we might need.

I’ve used Waterloo Automotive for a few years now and I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else! They’re very courteous and explain everything to you to where you understand what they’re talking about. I’ve never had a bad experience with this company. I recommend whenever people ask about getting something fixed on their car! It’s a great place!

Updating my review since it's been a year: I've got nothing to say but great things about this shop. I've been going here for all of my car repairs and needs since I've moved back home. My car is getting up there in miles and years, so naturally she needs more maintenance than before. While it may not always be the best news, everyone here has always been upfront and honest with what my car needs done. I can promise you that they put their customers and their customer's needs first. They're not going to cheat you by trying to sell you something you don't need. They always send me a text with a full diagnostic of everything they've checked and will include pictures. They're fantastic about returning calls and texts and keeping me informed about costs and times from start to finish.

I primarily worked with Candice to make the arrangements for service. She was polite, courteous and professional. The service work was excellent, and I have every intention to return for our future auto repairs. Thanks ?

Took my car in several times. We old them I was having smoke from engine, having misfiring and leaking coolant. They couldn’t find anything. Then while my car was in their possession the head gasket blew. Now no car for 4-6 months while waiting to get engine rebuilt. Caused major issues for my spouse and I. Just be honest when you don’t know something. Send people to someone who does know things about cars.

Was told my timing cover was leaking..however the car still overheats so has to be the radiator or something..I didn't ask for the engine to be checked..but the cooling system as that was the problem..the price quoted to fix was really high I feel..and the dash board light switch was knocked out and now will have to get thst fixed..So needless to say I wasn't pleased with this experience at this time.
